SH14 Scanner Housing System
Matelect developed the SH14 housing for signal and current multiplexing where more than 8 locations are required. Although the self-contained SM-HF and SM-HC scanner systems can be daisy-chained to connect up to 32 units, this becomes cumbersome beyond 2 or 3 modules, with messy interconnect wiring and the need for an external power unit.
The SH14 housing overcomes this by using a 19″ case identical to the CGM-7 and DCM-2, with a built-in power supply for up to 14 units and all interconnects neatly contained. It can even be configured to allow both AC and DC scanning of the same specimen, with PDsoft controlling it all.
