DC-CP1 High-Temperature Connection Plate
One of the more challenging aspects of using potential drop equipment is making physical connections to the specimen and wiring in general — a challenge that increases further at high temperature, where the user needs to transition from high-temperature cabling such as silver or nickel to the regular room-temperature cables that connect to the DCM-2.
This connection plate is usually located and fixed near the specimen, with the high-temperature cables coming in from one side and the standard-temperature cables exiting from the other.
Features
- Various mounting options available
- Rated to 90°C
- Max cable diameter 3.4mm for signal connections via ceramic blocks
- Max cable diameter 8.4mm for current connections via M8 studs and wing nuts
- Now with fused current connections
Applications
- For use with DCM-1 and DCM-2 DCPD units
- Makes the transition from high-temp cabling to standard DCPD room-temperature cabling easy
